What is the Spring Fundraiser?
The Spring Fundraiser is one of the most fun Hamlin events of the year! It is an adults-only (Hamlin parents and their guests) evening party, and the theme of this year’s event is Hamlin Prom.
Participating in the Spring Fundraiser is not only fun and a great opportunity to connect with other Hamlin parents, but funds raised contribute to the Parents Association's annual gift to Hamlin. Your gift directly impacts the school's operating budget and supports daily life at Hamlin. Last year, thanks to generous contributions from the community at events like the Spring Fundraiser, the PA made a gift of $500,000 in support of the extraordinary education our children receive each day.
What can I expect at the event?
This year’s event will be held from 6:30-10:30 p.m. on Friday, March 22 at St. Joseph’s Art Society (1401 Howard St.), a historic 1913 Catholic Church that has been restored to its original splendor and updated with all the modern amenities. We will have a full open bar and delightful dinner stations set up throughout the venue, along with cocktail tables and chairs for sitting and eating at your leisure (and outdoor seating if you want to rest your feet after hitting the dance floor!). There will be live music by local favorites Pop Rocks, remarks from Wanda, and a few other fun surprises in store.
Will there be a live auction or Raise the Paddle?
No, this is it! Over the last few years, we have simplified our Spring Fundraiser giving…including doing away with the live and online auctions and Raise the Paddle to allow for more time with friends to celebrate. This event remains an essential part of Hamlin’s fundraising each year, however, which means together we must still meet our fundraising goal of $475,000. Rather than offering separate opportunities for underwriting, auctions, and Raise the Paddle, we invite you and the entire community to support the event with one single gift to the fundraiser at a level that is meaningful to your family.

When do tickets go on sale? Which ticket price should I choose?
In recognizing that every family at Hamlin is unique, and in wanting to offer greater access to the event, we offer three ticket prices with the same level of inclusion and benefits: $75, $250, and $500. When considering the ticket prices for this fundraiser, please choose which level is the best fit for your family.
Sounds fun! What do I wear?
This is the Hamlin Prom! No need to wait for the perfect promposal. Relive your favorite prom memories or create the prom night you wish you had! This year’s Spring Fundraiser is an opportunity to live out your perfect prom dreams. Come decked out in your original prom dress, in the duds you wish you’d had in high school, or dress down and keep it casual in whatever you are most comfortable in - the choice is yours. If you need some inspiration or ideas, be on the lookout for a mood board created by our event committee!
